New graphics

These are made by hand - no photoshop this time!! - just very thick handmade paper, acryllic paint, collage, crayons, applications made from some pretty japanese postcards and pages from an old cook book with a funny comercial for coffee..

Since i have not been painting much lately (I have spend my time doing Photoshop and workshops) i had to collect works from different galleries -and have them sent back to the studio for this weekends open studio...

paintings, photos and prints

Just before we went off to Italy i finished one of this years biggest projects...This is a part of it - the cantina of Jysk (worldwide danish company). The images are a mix af some paintings that are part of the same project and some commercial photos from the client. Everything are put together in Photoshop, printed and put on boards (60 x 120 cm.)

Long time no seen..

Came back from a 2 weeks vacation in Italy, Toscany this sunday -got lots of inspiration and new energy!
Cant wait to share all the new projects i will be working on this fall...
These collages are made in Photoshop from bits of my paintings and stuff from my drawers and of course from the net.. Printed on photo paper 150 x 300 cm.

The Studio today..

More graphics on the walls!!

Just a few images from my latest graphic-interior-put some colours in our firm-job...
These consulting engineers just mooved their office into these nice and bright locations. I added some clolour and some graphics and paintings to the walls and turned the place into a very personal and welcoming office for employees and clients.

Industrial collages...

I'm working on a project for an ingeneering company -the last picture is a moodboard with colours and some of the graphics i created for their interior.

Summer Studio

We turned the smallest room in our summerhouse into a mini summer family studio... Our daughter loves it and princess drawings starts filling up the walls.

This spring i bought some old photos in Berlin on a flee market - i don't know the nice couple, but they look very happy enjoying their hollidays some where in Europe...

Workshop in the studio

I spend two evenings together with these 7 fantastic women in the studio.

They had signed up for my first workshop ever. The excitement and the expectations were sky high -So I am happy to say that after two evenings and 10 very intense hours together we all went home filled up with new energi and bubbling creativity.

• Oct. 6. + 8. (this is the super fancy workshop for only 4 participants)

(All the workshops runs over two evenings from 5 to 10 pm in the studio)

Power colours..?

I have been working on these big paintings for some time now. It´s funny how i seem to get used to the very bright, powerful, spontaneous  colours... Any how they light up the whole studio and i actually don´t look forward to the day when i have to se them off...

Art and interior for a dentist

I just did this proposal for art and interior for a dentist. She needed something light, calming and beautiful for the waiting room and clinic.
I hope she will accept - i think this can actually make going to the dentist an ok experience..

Open studio this sunday

The appletrees are all white outside the studio today - if we are lucky the flowers will last till sunday - when the studio is open from 11- 16 - everyone is welcome to come and have a look.

My studiomate Sidsel and I are all set for the event - take a look at Sidsels blog -she took some photos of the apple trees and turned them into art -they are very very beautiful!

And i think for sunday my paintings will be all dry and the little graphics you see in the pictures below will be framed and ready to take home... Have a great weekend!

I used a little paint and some crayons to make every print unique.

Open doors at Kærlighedsstien..

May in the Studio at Kærlighedsstien is almost like the japanese hanami -only, instead of cherry trees we enjoy the beauty of the apple trees blossoming. It is so beautifull and something we look forward to every year! 

This year we decided to make a special celebration and open up the studio.

New Paintings in Copenhagen

I just shipped these paintings and some more off to Galerie Gerly - "my" Gallery in Copenhagen.

ADD RED WEEK

My studio mate Sidsel from Spagat dared me to join her ADD RED WEEK and use more red in my paintings, so i started looking through photos of my older works to convince her -and myself that i am not afraid to use red -the color of rage, love and passion...

"Kunst for Alle" Art Fair- starting this thursday

I am so busy getting everything done for this thursday when the biggest Art Fair in Aarhus takes place.

The paintings i am working on for the fair are not quit there yet, so for now i post these photos from my new catalogue, which I will also present at the fair.

Also i am looking forward to show the project i have worked on with Heidi Bielfeldt. We call it FUGL+ (in english that is BIRD+).

Visitors in the studio

Right now i am working on a small and very fun project together with my friend, artist Heidi Bielfeldt.
These guys -the lovely dancers, the teacher in mathematics, the architect and a few others have been staying in the studio for a while, they where first created by Heidi and then dressed by me -and i think they will be going back to Heidis place for the final touch before they are ready for their big debut the Art Fair "Kunst for Alle" in Ridehuset, Århus.

These miniatures are the smalest paintings i ever did -they are very simple studies in technics and colours. They are like bricks -every one who comes by my studio starts playing with them -they can be put together in so many ways.

Hello Big Companies here i come..

I would love to do more projects for big companies with enough time and enough money to do a really good job.
So i made these small 20x 20 cm. photoshop collages using photos of my paintings to promote myself.

The text says (in danish):

Fall is now - Christmas is coming...

..it is so cold outside and actually also in the studio, so i put some warmth in the paintings.
Sidsel and I decided to have a small exclusive christmas bazar with art and design in the studio the 6th and 7th december. More about that later.

More graphics

I spend last week by the danish westcoast with my family, therefor i have not been working in the studio lately. Still i have been doing some photoshopping here by the computer -the gas company wanted more when i hung up the graphics i did for them. So here is a little peek for you -it is not finished yet.

Decoration of a domicile

Yesterday i finished these four 165 cm long pieces for the domicile of the corporation OK Benzin -a big gas company in Denmark - they are printed and mounted on glass -very simple and nice!
I will post photos from the building very soon.

Big opening on Saturday
